Every gas log set that has a
remote control also has a remote control receiver sitting near the logs.
This receiver needs protection from the heat. The metal heat shield slips
easily onto the remote control receiver leaving its on/off switch
accessible. The fiber log heat shield covers the entire receiver
with a thick insulative protection, leaving the appliance controllable
only by remote control. This shield blends beautifully into the gas logs
setting.
